It was just the thing I was looking for on a cool autumn evening. The restaurant - Swish, Swish - was quite a delight. excited to find that there was a place in Bellevue that did the same thing. A friend mentioned he had done this in China and was. Just a few days ago, somebody told me about a restaurant where you order a broth, some meats and vegetables and cook all these things at your seat at a table or the bar. It would have been nice if he did check in here and there.įour people they automatically add 15% service fee. Suppose this is a cook at your own leisure so they leave you alone place. The waiter didn't really check back with us each time when we needed something we had to flag him down. The best part was at the end, we got to drink the delicious broth full of flavor from cooking the meats.Īs for the service. We liked the miso and the original onion broth. The four of us each got our own individual pot. ![]() The greens have so many items to choose from, we loved the spinach, napa cabbage, corn. Many different types of meatballs, seafood balls, fish balls, dumplings. Got lots of ribeye beef, pork, calamari, prawns. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the items a la carte. We thought the all you can eat was the easiest choice. The concept of Chinese hot pot isn't new. We arrived at 11:30 when the place was quite empty. The place is pretty new, very clean and nicely decorated with lots of light. A little pricey, but if you have an appetite, you can probably get your money’s worth. ![]() We were full from the first portion they gave us. Since it was only the two us, the other being my son, we never really did get to experience the all you can eat. Both broths were served just below boiling allowing the hot plate to bring the temperature up to a rolling boil. ![]() Noodles were thick, but when cooked had a really nice springy texture. The ramen is not what I expected, in a good way. Sides were Napa cabbage, mushrooms, tofu, chinese greens and pig intestines. We had the pork bone broth with ramen and the chicken broth with udon. Keep in mind some of the side items cost extra. You pick out a broth, some meats, noodles and veg. Vegetables were fresh and the sauces were delicious. fast.įor all you can eat, the food was high quality and had large portions. Check in was with the now ubiquitous ipad which gave us an estimate of 10 minutes. Not sure why, but on a mid-Saturday afternoon, we waited 30 minutes along with many others even though they had empty tables available. ![]()
